Steve’s Classroom was created to help you learn and put into action the steps required for leveraging the power of the Internet. Regardless if you are a stay at home mom seeking to market parenting how-to books or you own an established brick and mortar business and seek more local leads and sales, the fundamental concepts of Internet marketing are the same.
With Steve’s Classroom I’ll guide and motivate you toward the steps required for making your online venture a success. Nothing about the process comes close to “rocket science”. However, as you may already know, there are many pieces to the puzzle you must learn and implement correctly. My goal is to make that process as easy and straightforward for you as possible.
Building Your Site
This is the biggest hurdle in the beginning. To be honest, most people never get past this step and onto the
real aspects of Internet marketing. Not only did I see the frustration in my students at this step, I felt frustrated as a teacher. I’ve devoted much time and effort into developing and refining tools and techniques to help make site building a simpler process. I offer personal, one-on-one coaching for anyone wishing to rapidly jump-start the process. Sure, anyone
can learn everything required on their own in order to succeed online. There are no “secrets”…as some “hypesters” have you believe. However, reaching out to a qualified mentor/coach can eliminate countless hours of trial and error frustration.
My coaching program (and it’s pricing) is tailored to a case-by-case basis. Because there are as many different circumstances as there are students who seek my coaching, it’s impossible for me to offer a one-size-fits-all package.

SEO – Search Engine Optimization
SEO is the main factor that allowed my wife and I to quit our education careers back in 2007. Without the ability to get free search engine advertising and the resulting traffic, we would still be in those jobs. Sure,
there are other important marketing skills you should know. But I’m a firm believer that everyone, from the local business owner to the work-at-home entrepreneur, should focus first on SEO and get as much free traffic and advertising as possible with it.

Google AdWords – PayPerClick
I won’t tell you how many thousands of dollars of “stupid tax” I paid to Google in the beginning. Then I 
found a mentor who showed a few fundamental PPC concepts. Looking back, those times of trying to learn PPC on my own were some of my most foolish moments online. Come to find out, PayPerClick is probably THE hardest of all Internet marketing skills to learn. If you are still paying the “stupid tax” yourself, pause all your campaigns right now and let’s talk.

All my skill and knowledge about SEO, and Internet marketing in general, is easily transferred to the local
business area. Only a few tweaks and adjustments are required. Success with local search marketing for local service and retail businesses is still all about “relevance” and getting great placements in Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
Home Business Marketers
This is the area my wife and I cut our teeth in with respect to Internet marketing. We know the good, the bad, AND the ugly of building a successful home Internet business.
