Employed by Cascades since 2002, Mr. Marineau was appointed Vice-President, Environment in 2003. He has more than 20 years of experience in the environmental sector gained in the oil and paper industries.
As Vice-President of Environment, he is responsible for setting the environmental strategic orientations throughout the Corporation, ensuring regulatory compliance and assisting the plants in their daily operations. He is a member of Cascades Management Committee.
Léon Marineau holds a Bachelor’s Degree in geological engineering from Université Laval and a Master’s Degree from the Institut National de Recherche Scientifique (INRS). He is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
