Community Relations Manager for Poland Spring

Heather Printup has been with Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA) for over 17 years and plays a critical role in developing and implementing community relations strategies for Maine. As Community Relations Manager for Poland Spring, Heather focuses on stakeholder relations and community engagement. She co-created an environmental education curriculum for use in community school districts across Maine where NWNA operates and, through a partnership with Project WET, works with The Ecology School, Gulf of Maine Research Institute and NWNA’s Trout in the Classroom/Brookie Buddies curriculum which has reached more than 100,000 Maine students. Heather also leads several other community initiatives including NWNA’s water donation program in Maine as well as NWNA’s Good Neighbor Grant Program, which has given more than $7 million to local Maine community organizations focusing on education and environmental conservation.
Heather began her career with NWNA as the Manager of the Poland Spring Museum for five years before serving as the brand’s Education and Outreach Coordinator for an additional six years. She has held numerous committee positions in the Poland, Maine community and elsewhere across the region, including serving as an executive board member of the Poland Spring Preservation Society. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Science from the University of Southern Maine and grew up 8-miles from the Poland Spring factory.
