Einar is a 56-year-old executive who has spent his entire career within the aqua feed industry. Starting with marketing and customer roles, he was an industrial nutrition scientist for more than 10 years. 16 years ago he changed direction in his career and entered a range of management roles within EWOS, before he took over as CEO of EWOS Group in 2013.
EWOS was acquired by Cargill in 2015. In Cargill, Einar took over all aqua feed operations from EWOS and Cargill and formed a new Group, Cargill Aqua Nutrition, where he currently acts as Group Leader and President.
Einar is dedicated to innovation and has been driving feed innovations in EWOS from all his roles, currently to transfer the innovation capabilities into warm water species. In the recent years, he has focused on innovation in the entire value chain and believes there are more to do by integrating ingredient suppliers more into feed innovations.
In Cargill, Einar drives sustainability and consumer focus into the entire Cargill Animal Nutrition. Einar holds a Ph.D. degree in Aquaculture from Agricultural University of Norway and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Norwegian School of Management.
