Before joining Clarity AI, Chris was the Group Head, EVP of Financial Services at Edelman, which is the largest Communications Firm in the world. He was recruited away from Euromoney Institutional Investor, a FTSE 250 company, where he was the Chief Marketing Officer and responsible for a portfolio of more than 20 global brands. Before joining Euromoney, Chris was the SVP, Head of Marketing and Internal Sales at Global X ETFs, at which he led a full reworking of the go-to-market strategy including a rebrand, which led to a quadrupling of assets under management (from $2.6B to $10.1B) over three years and the eventual sale to Mirae Asset, the largest Asset Manager in Korea.
Prior to Global X, Chris was the VP, Integrated Marketing & Operations, leading the $400M media buy at Liberty Mutual Insurance and the 2013 rebrand to “See Insurance in a Whole New Light”. Before Liberty Mutual, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in the Financial Services practice. And, prior to that, Chris was a journalist and editor in New York City for 10 years.
He holds an MBA from Duke University with concentrations in Statistics and Energy & the Environment, and a BA from Rice University in English. He lives in Brooklyn with his husband and twin 5 year-old boys.
