American Forests
Britta is American Forests’ California State Director and works with federal, state and private land managers to restore forest health after severe wildfires and other disturbances. American Forests' suite of "climate smart" reforestation methods are designed to ensure that forests can better withstand extreme drought, fire and pest outbreaks in an ever-changing climate. Since 2009, Britta has worked on forest health issues in California where she served in leadership positions for a regional nonprofit and local government. She currently serves on the Governor's Forest Management Task Force.
