Accelerate at VERGE 23 is a fast-pitch competition featuring entrepreneurs with innovative technologies, products and services in carbon, energy, food, transportation, and buildings.
Selected finalists will pitch from the VERGE stage to thousands of business, government and thought leaders.
The Perks

Funding*: First place will win $20,000 from GreenBiz in the form of a SAFE. Second and third place will each win $10,000.

*Only US companies are eligible for funding from GreenBiz. Accelerate winners are determined by the most audience votes in the event app.
Eligibility Criteria
Successful nominations must be:

A startup developing a climate tech solution in carbon, energy, food, transportation, or buildings.

At the Seed to Series A stage of funding.

Incorporated and have a product or service ready for testing or deployment.

At least one full-time employee.

Available to pitch in person at VERGE 23 from October 24-26, 2023.
Timeline
July 6 - August 6: Entrepreneurs submit an application, including a 1-minute pitch video.
August 16 - August 30: Community voting on GreenBiz.com of the top-semi-finalist in each category.
Mid-September: Finalists announced!
October 24 - 26: The pitch session will take place at VERGE 23.
